Welcome to our Pain Awareness Month Partner Toolkit
September is Pain Awareness Month
Thank you for your partnership with the Arthritis Foundation during Pain Awareness Month and for helping raise awareness of the many ways arthritis pain impacts lives and how the Arthritis Foundation can help.
This September, our campaign is focused on sharing words of inspiration from our arthritis community, along with Arthritis Foundation pain management support, to all those living with arthritis pain.
The words were collected during Arthritis Awareness Month in May when we asked our community, “What word inspires you on your arthritis journey?” Each word provides encouragement to get through tough days while dealing with an often-invisible disease that can lead to depression, loneliness and fear along with physical pain.
Beginning September 1, our social media campaign will share how these inspiring words offer hope and support to those dealing with emotional and physical challenges from arthritis pain. Posts will be linked to practical resources, tools and information, and we’ll invite followers to post stories and videos of their own experiences.
We invite you to share these social media posts and pain management resources to your community throughout the month. Thank you for helping us spread the word that no one living with arthritis pain has to go it alone — the Arthritis Foundation, our partners and community are here for each of them.
