FASENRA Pen® (benralizumab)
FASENRA Pen gives you the option to self-administer after proper training and your healthcare provider's approval.
The FASENRA Pen® (benralizumab) is a single-dose autoinjector for administering FASENRA. FASENRA is a FDA approved prescription medicine used:
- with other asthma medicines for the maintenance treatment of asthma in people 6 years and older whose asthma is not controlled with their current asthma medicines.
- to treat people 18 years and older with eosinophilic granulomatosis with polyangiitis (EGPA).
FASENRA is not used to treat sudden breathing problems.
ABBREVIATED IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION
FASENRA is not for sudden breathing problems. FASENRA may cause allergic reactions, including anaphylaxis. Get help right away if you have swelling of your face, mouth, and tongue, or trouble breathing. Donʼt stop your medications, including oral steroids, without talking with your doctor. Tell your doctor if your condition worsens or if you have a parasitic infection. Headache and sore throat may occur.
