Karen’s Story
Arthritis can be a disabling disease that prevents you from doing many things. While Karen knows firsthand how painful arthritis can be, she fights through it to help others living with the disease.
Karen Deutsch was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis (RA) nearly 20 years ago. The disease affects many of her joints, and she’s had neck, feet and hand surgery to help correct damage and relieve pain.
Even though RA is a painful disease, Karen continues to live an active lifestyle by exercising, eating a heathy diet and volunteering at an adult daycare center. She is also an active participant in the Arthritis Foundation’s Live Yes! Connect group. When Karen isn’t busy helping others, you can find her spending time with her family and enjoying her great nephews. Karen is a true Champion of Yes.
