Ingredients

½ cup freshly squeezed lemon juice

½ cup gluten-free, low-sodium tamari

½ cup tahini, oil drained off

½ cup balsamic vinegar

2 tsp. fresh garlic, minced

Directions

Place all ingredients in a mixing bowl and whisk until well blended. Or, for a better emulsion, place ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.

Chef’s Notes

For a spicy version of this dip, add fresh minced jalapenos. Not only will they bring on the heat, but jalapenos are also low in calories and a good source of vitamin C and vitamin B6.
