Welcome to Green Heart Fridays
Green Heart Fridays is a nationwide art initiative unfolding across social media and city streets during May, Arthritis Awareness Month.
At the center of it all is the Arthritis Foundation’s Green Heart — a symbol of support for the nearly 60 million adults and children diagnosed with arthritis in the U.S.
Each Friday in May, the Arthritis Foundation invites supporters everywhere to share a Green Heart — spreading messages of support for the arthritis community across social media. At the same time, artist partners in 11 cities across the country create original artwork inspired by the Green Heart and place the pieces in their communities for the public to discover and take home.
Together, artists and supporters make arthritis awareness visible nationwide, and it begins with one simple act: Share a Green Heart.
How to Participate
Green Heart Fridays begins May 1, and participation is easy — every Green Heart shared makes a difference.
