Tribute to Excellence Honorary Dinner

Join us for the 8th annual Tribute to Excellence Honorary Dinner, the Iowa Chapter’s signature event to honor those dedicated to improving the lives of Iowan’s with arthritis and finding a cure for this debilitating disease.  This year’s event will take place on Friday, September 19, 2008 from 6 – 10 pm at Hy-Vee Conference Center in West Des Moines and will honor David Miles of The Miles Group and Dr. Craig Mahoney from Iowa Orthopaedic Center.  For a list of past honorees please click here.

 

In addition to honoring these outstanding individuals, the Iowa Chapter hopes to raise $65,000 to support research, public health, and public policy efforts throughout the state of Iowa.  The Iowa Chapter currently supports arthritis-related research at both the local and national levels, provides evidence-based programming and educational materials in more than 80 communities, and serves as advocates to help pass the Arthritis Prevention, Control, and Cure Act.  There are more than 615,000 adults and 2,800 children in Iowa suffering from arthritis, and we need your help to fulfill our mission to improve lives through leadership in the prevention, control, and cure of arthritis and related diseases.
