Advocacy Luncheon
Thursday, October 23, 2008
Eastport Banquet and Meeting Center
11:30 am - 1:30 pm
The Arthritis Foundation Advocacy Luncheon is a program designed to give constituents the opportunity to meet and greet legislators in their home districts to discuss the issues that are important to people with arthritis. This year, there will be a meet and greet for legislators and candidates to discuss their viewpoints on arthritis and other healthcare issues. In addition, during the luncheon speakers will educate participants on how to be an advocate, the importance of being an advocate and how legislators make decisions about voting for bills. A person with arthritis will also share their story and how the Arthritis Foundation has made a difference in their lives. Please join us for an educational and inspirational program.
